# Your Agents Should Not Each Build a Second Brain

Correct one assistant, and the others may still repeat the mistake. Why Team0 keeps one changing picture of the work and gives each agent only what it may see.

Yogev Ben-TovPublished August 24, 2026 · Updated September 23, 2026 · 3 min read

You tell one assistant that the customer meeting moved to Thursday. On Friday, another assistant still prepares you for the original Tuesday slot. A third one cites both dates and lets you sort it out.

Each agent has its own memory. You have become the person who has to keep those memories in sync.

## Agents need their own tools, not their own version of reality

Of course a coding agent needs the repository. A scheduling agent needs your calendar. A sales agent may need the CRM. They should each keep the working notes their job requires.

But some things cut across those jobs. A customer's decision may change what the coder should build. A relationship may explain why one meeting deserves more preparation than another. If every agent works those things out independently, disagreement is inevitable.

Team0's [World Model](https://team0.ai/world-model) is meant to be the shared place where those changes are recorded and revised. It keeps the source alongside the conclusion, including cases where two sources disagree. The agent still does its own job. It doesn't have to invent its own account of the whole business first.

## One source of understanding does not mean one level of access

Sharing the underlying model must not mean sharing everything in it. A public website agent should not receive your private email and then be told not to reveal it. A contractor should not see everything you can see. Two colleagues may honestly disagree about an account. The company view should not quietly turn one person's claim into everyone's fact.

Team0 gives each connected agent an explicit [access agreement](https://team0.ai/agent-network): who it represents, what it may read, what it may say or do, and when it must ask first. The restriction has to happen *before* private information reaches the agent.

An agent preparing your meeting might see private context, while a coding agent might only learn that a product decision changed. They can work from the same decision without getting the same access.

## A correction should travel

If you correct an old date, you should not have to visit five assistants and repeat yourself. The new evidence should change the current understanding once. Later answers should use the new date. The old one can stay in the history so you can see why it changed.

This is the difference between correcting a system and chasing copies of its mistake. We're testing whether connected agents receive corrections consistently and lose access when you revoke it.

Authorized agents can read a permitted part through Team0's API and [MCP](https://team0.ai/mcp). They can differ in what they do without starting from conflicting accounts of what happened.

## New agent. Same you.

Team0 plugs into the agents you already use, so every one of them starts from what’s true.

Search can find the message. It can't always tell whether the work is done, who knows the answer, or what changed. What a Company Brain needs beyond search.
