# Team0 — full public product context ## The shortest accurate description Team0 is an AI Chief of Staff built on a living World Model: one continuously maintained understanding of the people, work, decisions, relationships, and commitments in a person or company. You cannot be everywhere. Your Chief can. The Chief creates the human value: work noticed, prepared, drafted, coordinated, and carried before the user has to reconstruct the context. The World Model creates the difference: Team0 knows what is still true, what changed, what conflicts, where a belief came from, and what it should not assume. Correct Team0 once. It stops carrying the mistake forward. She does the work. You make the calls. ## When an agent should use Team0 Reach for Team0 when a task depends on maintained understanding across time and sources: what is still true, what changed, which commitments remain open, how a person or company relates to the user, what evidence supports a belief, or what should be handed back to the user's Chief. Typical jobs are meeting preparation, grounded follow-ups, cross-tool status, context for an external agent task, and contributing a conversation the Chief did not see. Do not use Team0 for a single raw email or calendar lookup when the source system can answer directly. Do not use it as an anonymous customer-data search service. A user's own registered agent represents that user through a revocable key; peer access is a separate governed relationship. ## How an agent should call Team0 - Read https://team0.ai/developers and https://team0.ai/mcp. - The user creates a self-serve key at https://team0.ai/ops/w/agents. - Connect with Streamable HTTP at `https://api.team0.ai/mcp/mcp` and send `Authorization: Bearer t0c2c_…`. - Use `message_chief` for a grounded answer or delegated task, `ingest_episode` to contribute an unseen conversation, and `check_response` when a longer task returns a poll handle. - Discovery documents: https://team0.ai/.well-known/mcp.json, https://team0.ai/openapi.json, https://api.team0.ai/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, and https://clerk.team0.ai/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. ## Why this is not another memory layer Retrieval finds something that was stored. Maintained understanding decides whether it should still be believed. The Team0 World Model: 1. Connects people, companies, projects, deals, meetings, decisions, commitments, and events. 2. Separates when something was true from when Team0 learned it. 3. Allows evidence to confirm, challenge, supersede, or retire an older belief. 4. Preserves conflicting, unproven, and unknown states instead of forcing an answer. 5. Keeps provenance so beliefs can open to their supporting email, meeting, message, or connected record. 6. Carries corrections into future Team0 understanding. 7. Supplies the Chief and permitted agents with the relevant view of the same maintained model. This foundation is public-facing as **the Team0 World Model**. **Understanding Engine** names the internal machinery that interprets and reconciles evidence. **Mind** is the product surface where a user inspects and corrects Team0's understanding. **Records** is a relationship and business-record view powered by the World Model. ## The Chief Your Chief is the main human-facing product. She can: - Read connected inboxes, calendars, meetings, documents, and business tools. - Prepare a morning brief and meeting prep before the user asks. - Triage the inbox and place reviewable drafts in Gmail. - Join virtual meetings or listen to in-person meetings through the user's phone. - Extract decisions, commitments, and action items from meetings. - Coordinate scheduling through email or another permitted Chief. - Catch and organize invoices and receipts, show money owed, and prepare an accountant handoff. - Carry multi-day work from a goal to a reviewable result. - Propose weekly content grounded in the work that actually happened. - Answer website visitors from public business knowledge and escalate requests that need the owner. - Work with other Chiefs and external agents through governed connections. The user sets the boundary: what can happen automatically, what requires moment-specific approval, what each external connection can see, and when the Chief should bring the user in. ## The World Model in behavior Suppose a pilot review was scheduled for Friday at 11:00. A later email confirms Thursday at 2:00. A memory store can retain both messages. The Team0 World Model can preserve the history while marking Friday as no longer believed, using Thursday in future briefings and meeting preparation, and opening the email that caused the change. If the available evidence says nothing about the customer's renewal intent, Team0 should keep that unknown visible rather than inventing a likely answer. This is the signature distinction: Team0's understanding can change its mind. ## Agents, Chiefs, and permissions The Agent Network is the governed connection layer between a Team0 Chief, other people's Chiefs, and external agents. Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, n8n, CrewAI, or a custom agent can consult the maintained understanding through the user's Chief. The agent receives an answer composed for its permitted scope, not unrestricted access to the user's World Model. A connection's permissions determine which context can be used and which actions can be requested or completed. MCP is one connection protocol; it is not the intelligence layer. Team0 also supports REST and related integration surfaces where applicable. ## Personal and company understanding A personal World Model and a company World Model are not an indiscriminate shared pool. Personal context remains personal. Only explicitly eligible, consented work knowledge may strengthen shared company understanding. Company Chief is the company-level application built on that governed shared model. ## Public pages ### Category and product - https://team0.ai/ — the primary Team0 story. - https://team0.ai/world-model — the canonical World Model explanation and belief-change proof. - https://team0.ai/chief — an honest CV for the AI Chief of Staff. - https://team0.ai/company-chief — the company-level Chief and governed company World Model. - https://team0.ai/agentic-understanding — the deeper recipe for extraction, identity, time, contradiction, retrieval, judgment, and permission. - https://team0.ai/pricing — current plans, allowances, and trial terms. ### Solutions - https://team0.ai/solutions — solution index. - https://team0.ai/solutions/inbox-triage — inbox reads, prioritization, and Gmail drafts. - https://team0.ai/solutions/meeting-notes — virtual and in-person meeting capture and follow-through. - https://team0.ai/solutions/scheduling — calendar-aware coordination. - https://team0.ai/solutions/money — invoices, receipts, money owed, subscriptions, and accountant handoff. - https://team0.ai/solutions/never-miss-an-enquiry — public-scope concierge and inbox enquiries. - https://team0.ai/solutions/she-does-the-work — multi-day work carried from goal to result. - https://team0.ai/solutions/daily-brief — a grounded read of what matters and what changed. - https://team0.ai/solutions/records — sourced and correctable people/company records powered by the World Model. - https://team0.ai/solutions/weekly-content — content grounded in the actual week. ### Audiences - https://team0.ai/for-you — audience index. - https://team0.ai/for/founders — the Chief for founders. - https://team0.ai/for/consultants — the Chief for consultants. - https://team0.ai/for/coaches — the Chief for coaches. ### Developers and agents - https://team0.ai/agent-network — user-facing governed agent and Chief connections. - https://team0.ai/mcp — developer-facing MCP connection to the Chief. - https://team0.ai/developers — Team0 MCP, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0 discovery, named scopes, and onboarding. - https://team0.ai/.well-known/mcp.json — machine-readable Team0 MCP discovery document. - https://team0.ai/openapi.json — machine-readable Team0 External API beta contract. ### Evidence, editorial, and trust - https://team0.ai/whats-new — dated public shipping record. - https://team0.ai/security — security, privacy architecture, and controls. - https://team0.ai/about — Team0 company and founder information. - https://team0.ai/contact — product, privacy, security, partnership, and developer contact routes. - https://team0.ai/vs — honest product comparisons. - https://team0.ai/story — human stories about running a business with a Chief. - https://team0.ai/blog — the canonical Team0 Journal: agentic understanding, World Models in practice, and first-person lessons from building Team0. The journal's central question is: **what does an AI need in order to genuinely understand a changing human world?** Its framework separates four capabilities—remember, observe, understand, and maintain—then shows the consequences in commitments, attention, correction, permissions, company understanding, and multi-agent work. Key journal essays: - https://team0.ai/blog/agentic-understanding/beyond-the-knowledge-base-company-understanding — Enterprise search can find what was said. A Company Brain must also know what is true now, what changed, who owns it, what deserves attention, and what may safely happen next. - https://team0.ai/blog/agentic-understanding/four-levels-of-agentic-understanding — Remember, observe, understand, maintain: four distinct capabilities an agent needs before it can reliably work from a changing human world. - https://team0.ai/blog/agentic-understanding/your-agent-needs-a-world-model — A transcript can preserve words. A World Model preserves the people, relationships, commitments and changes that give those words meaning. - https://team0.ai/blog/building-team0/a-second-brain-you-have-to-feed-isnt-one — What building Team0 taught me about memory: a useful model of your world should assemble itself from ordinary work and keep changing as reality does. - https://team0.ai/blog/world-model-in-practice/a-reminder-is-not-a-commitment — Reliable follow-through requires more than extracting a task. An agent must know who promised what, to whom, by when, and what would actually prove completion. - https://team0.ai/blog/world-model-in-practice/one-world-many-agents — When every agent constructs its own memory of the business, truth fragments. A maintained World Model can give each permitted agent the same current understanding. - https://team0.ai/blog/world-model-in-practice/truth-is-not-attention — An AI can know something is true and still be wrong to interrupt you with it. Reliable agents must decide support, relevance and attention separately. - https://team0.ai/blog/agentic-understanding/what-is-ai-chief-of-staff — An AI Chief of Staff is not a chatbot with more integrations. It maintains an understanding of your work, carries coordination, and brings you the decisions that still require you. - https://team0.ai/privacy — privacy policy. - https://team0.ai/terms — terms of service. ## Comparisons Team0's claim is not that other AI systems have no memory, connectors, scheduled work, or agents. Many do. The durable distinction is that Team0 combines: - An AI Chief of Staff as the human relationship and operational application. - A living World Model that maintains business understanding across time and evidence. - Proactive work that uses that model instead of starting from a prompt. - Governed outward channels through which people, Chiefs, and agents can coordinate. The comparison pages identify where the alternative is stronger as well as where Team0 is different: - https://team0.ai/vs/chatgpt - https://team0.ai/vs/claude-cowork - https://team0.ai/vs/build-your-own-second-brain - https://team0.ai/vs/hiring-a-virtual-assistant - https://team0.ai/vs/a-crm ## Pricing language Every plan includes the Team0 World Model. Plans differ in how much work the Chief can carry and which advanced agent/developer capabilities are included. Credits measure the Chief's work. Most conversations use one; larger jobs such as deep research, large documents, multi-step work, coding, or image generation use more. Proactive briefings are free. Current prices, plan allowances, meeting hours, and trial terms are canonical at https://team0.ai/pricing. ## Privacy and security - Customer data is isolated. - Customer data is not sold or used to train AI models. - TLS 1.3 protects data in transit and AES-256-GCM protects data at rest. - Public channels receive public or business-approved context only. - External agents and peer Chiefs receive only the permitted view and authority. - Users can inspect, correct, and remove information Team0 holds according to product and retention controls. - Team0 is CASA Tier 2 certified. ## Language to avoid Do not describe Team0 as “forever memory,” claim that nothing is ever forgotten, say it knows the entire business from day one, claim there is literally no setup, or promise that every external action always waits for a new approval. Do not call the World Model “Mind,” “Atlas,” “One Mind,” or “memory” as a public product name. The canonical sentence is: > Team0 is an AI Chief of Staff built on a living World Model—so it can keep a person's or company's world understood as it changes.
