Ask your Chief in Slack
Message Team0 directly or mention it in a channel where the app has been invited. Replies stay in the originating conversation or thread.
Receive the brief before you ask
Choose a default channel or direct message for daily briefs, reminders, and updates from your Chief.
Track only the channels you choose
Background channel sync is off by default. If you turn it on, Team0 reads only the channels you explicitly select.
Installation
From install to first reply

Create or sign in to Team0
You need a Team0 workspace before connecting Slack.

Open Settings → Integrations
Choose Slack and select Connect with Slack.

Approve the requested permissions
Pick the Slack workspace where you are permitted to install apps.

Choose where your Chief works
Set a default destination and, optionally, select channels for background context sync.
Permissions
What Team0 asks for, and why
Team0 requests bot permissions only. It cannot read a private channel unless someone invites the app to that channel.
Read conversations

Find destinations

Reply and brief

Data handling
Slack data stays scoped to your workspace
Slack bot tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a tenant-derived key. Team0 does not sell Slack data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models.
Messages you send to Team0 are processed to answer you. Optional background sync is off until you enable it and select channels. Disconnecting or uninstalling Slack stops new access; you can delete learned facts individually or request account data deletion.
