Comparison
Cowork is genuinely good at what it is for: point it at your folders, describe an outcome, come back to a spreadsheet that actually calculates. Team0 runs a different layer around that work. Its World Model maintains the people, commitments, and decisions in your business, so your Chief can carry the same understanding into meetings, inboxes, and client conversations.

| Dimension | Claude Cowork | Team0 | Edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Producing a real deliverable | Excel with working formulas, PowerPoint, formatted documents, straight from your own files. | Docs, posts, emails and images, kept in one library with full version history, one-click restore and a share link. | Claude Cowork |
| Working on your hard drive | Reads and writes the folders on your machine that you point it at. | Works across the tools you connect rather than local folders. | Claude Cowork |
| What it knows between tasks | The connectors, skills and plugins you enable, loaded at the start of a session. | A World Model that maintains your business from mail, calendar and meetings, with the source attached to each fact. | Team0 |
| One big multi-step job | Splits it across sub-agents running in parallel, and shows each step as it goes. | Carries a goal over days and comes back with a result and a receipt. | Even |
| Who can reach it | You direct it, from web, desktop or mobile. | Your clients too. She has her own email address, answers visitors on your site, and talks to other Chiefs. | Team0 |
| Scheduled work, and unscheduled | Schedule a task for any cadence and it runs unattended, laptop closed. | Also runs on a schedule, and raises what you never scheduled: a thread gone quiet, a commitment out of a call. | Team0 |
| Your meetings | Works from whatever notes you bring it. | Joins the call, or listens in the room through your phone. Names who said what. Recap ready when it ends. | Team0 |
| Using both | Supports connectors over MCP. | Exposes an MCP server, so Cowork can ask her about your business mid-task. | Even |
What actually differs
Cowork is where work gets made on your own machine. You point it at folders, describe the outcome, and it returns the artifact. A Chief of Staff runs the business around that work. She knows who is waiting on you, what you promised on Tuesday and which client has gone quiet since the proposal, and the documents, posts and replies she writes land in one library you can edit, restore and share.
One builds from your folders. One knows who it is for and what you already told them.
Both run without you sitting there. The difference is who decides there is something to do. A schedule runs the task you defined, at the cadence you set. She raises the thing nobody scheduled, because the record of your business changed and something now needs you.
You cannot put a cron on the thing you did not see coming.
Cowork supports connectors over MCP, and Team0 runs an MCP server. Connect the two and Cowork can ask your Chief about your business in the middle of a task, getting an answer she composed from your real context rather than a dump of your data for it to interpret alone.
She is the part that knows. It stays the part that builds.
